People's Choice Awards é uma premiação que reconhece as pessoas, músicas e séries da cultura popular.Portanto nâo esperem ver filmes mais "cabeça" ou com profundidade...É basicamente a premiação do cinema pipoca ,com votação popular,muito em moda ultimamente!O show é exibido desde 1975 pela CBS e é produzido pela empresa de higiene Procter & Gamble.

Os nomes dos nomeados aos People’s Choice Awards 2011 foram recentemente anunciados pela CBS. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” e “Inception” foram os filmes que mais nomeações arrecadaram nas categorias cinematográficas e são portanto os favoritos à conquista destes prêmios que são entregues pelo povo norte-americano. A cerimônia de entrega dos People’s Choice Awards está marcada para 5 de Janeiro de 2011 no Nokia Theatre em Los Angeles, EUA.
